2010-04-30 LIBERIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & UNMIL PROCUREMENT WORKSHOP

Dear Members,

The Liberia Chamber of Commerce, United Nations Procurement Division (UNDP), and the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) will be conducting a Business Seminar on May 7, 2010 at the Chambers Office on Capitol Hill, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The objective of the Seminar is to increase the awareness of business opportunities offered by the UN Procurement Division and to share information to the local business community on how they can do business with the United Nations.

Following the presentations, UNDP and UNMIL would like to conduct an on-site registration session where companies will be able to register on-line as potential suppliers to the United Nations Secretariat. If you are interested in an on-site registration, please contact the LCC ahead of the Seminar date so that you would be placed on the registration schedule and provided with the pre-requisites.

We encourage you to invite suitable companies who can provide goods and/or services based on the information listed below.

UNDP and UNMIL has asked us to inform all members that the United Nations Secretariat has a "zero tolerance" policy for gifts and hospitality, and also expects vendors not to offer any gifts or forms of hospitality.
